Playgrounds - SA Barossa

Tanunda Recreation Park.

The fenced area for the playground is quite large but there is not a lot of equipment in there. It is fenced, has toilets at the nearby oval, street parking. All ages would be able to play on this playground.

Tolley Reserve Playground.

Tolley Reserve is an expansive play space in the heart of Nuriootpa. It is well facilitated with easy access from the main road and on site parking, plenty of shady trees and a good list of amenities including toilets, BBQ, seating and a BP petrol station across the road for anything else you've forgotten or emergency baby wipes! The playground has a retired steam train that the kids can climb up on and equipment suited to a range of ages; a lower toddler friendly set on one side and higher set opposite with only climb-up access to slow the little ones down. The playground and toilets are all access and also has a disabled swing on site. There is a skate park just south of the playground and a large grassed expanse leading down to the river on the eastern side. Unfortunately no fences and quite close to a main road are considerable drawbacks for toddler-wrangling but plenty of good things about this playgroud mean its an excellent option to pack a lunch and head out for the day!
